Recently have been told I look like Mary Ann from Gilligan's Island. I hadn't heard that in years, but that is a good place to start as to what I look like, although she had a better bod. I have three boys and have been married for 13 years. Born of a Navy family, in Hawaii, one Mom, one Dad, one sister and one brother. The eldest of three children. BS in Applied Mathematics. Consider Pensacola my home town although I moved every 2-3 years of my life growing up. Currently work in the aerospace industry in an engineering position while being a Mom. Of Celtic heritage and very proud of it.

11:20 AM- All is fine at Bou Corner

I just spoke to Bou for the Hurricane Jeanne update. They are without power and therefore without Internet access. As they were listening to reports of people losing their roofs their own roof tiles were peeling off and two of the storm shudders came loose and ripped away from the house. Bou thought they were going to lose the roof and paced the floors all night. Fortunately, they only lost 15 tiles and suffered a little more screen damage on the porch. Bou says, “ We’re destined to be eye wall people. We don’t get to have the piece of the eye, we get stuck with the frickin’ eye wall.”
The boys and husband are currently taking down the storm shudders as Bou directs them. Surprised? Sounds like things are slowing getting back to normal.

THANK YOU for posting this. I've been worried to pieces.

I'm still getting slammed with wind and rain. Have power and phone just no cable (hence I can't get real info on how things are in WPB. No obvious damage yet - thank goodness.

So glad there was nothing HORRIBLE to read here - although when going through the middle of it, it sure isn't a fun time.

I'm relieved to hear that's the only damage she has and that they're all well. I'm seeing pics/video here and it's not pretty.

Please let us know about her parent's too.

You all continue to be in my prayers, as you'll need the spiritual strength to endure the clean up phase. What you are all going through is not easy. So here are some (((((hugs))))) to lift your spirits.

Four hurricanes in six weeks. That has to just wear you down.

On behalf of Bou and Fam, thank you for all of your prayers and positive thoughts.
The folks are doing well, the trees were finally cleared out today. TGOO was pleased to have he basic TV channels this weekend to watch college football. Things are pretty much back to normal at the Pensacola house- that is not indicative of the rest of P-cola. Unfortunately, they still do not have internet access or TGOO would be the Guest Blogger.
